Best tool for adding RSS feed to a site?

I'm pretty lame with RSS...I use RSS Owl occasionally for my personal use but I don't find it that compelling, so I haven't done much else with it.

So now I am maintaining a local Dem party site and I want to add some feeds from the DNC site at least (for example the Women's Vote Center page has an rss link).

So I googled and came up with some tool options, for example:

Just wondered if anyone here has any experiences doing this, that they'd like to share?

1. Depends on your scripting environment

I've added RSS feeds to both ASP and PHP sites, and needless to say, each requires the script to be coded in that language.

So to answer your question, the questions are "are you on windows or 'ix", what is your site coded in (some scripting language or straight HTML), and are you permitted to set write permissions on your account, because the RSS feed is going to write an XML file in the process of retrieving the feed.

BTW, both of those appear to be PHP scripts.
