problem solving a css background.

At this site, I can't figure out how to make the background of the container show up in browsers other than IE.

I think it's an issue with the abs/rel positioning required for the footer to stick at the bottom.
Is it possible to have a sticky footer and the background image of the container work together?

I realized that I was designing around the sticky footer - not good.
