Nominations for a poll comparing Open Source CMS systems.
It would be useful to folks choosing a CMS to see what the opinions of DU-posting web admins are.

I've been experimenting with different CMS packages at OpenSourceHost.com for the past few weeks; There are so many good systems to choose from, and I'm positive that other DUers starting their own web-projects would be interested to see if there is a preference among those who have already passed the learning curve.

Please nominate your favorite Open Source CMS in this thread. On Friday I'll create the poll and we'll see where it goes.

I nominate:

Drupal
XOOPS

2. Xoops.
If you need a site quickly, you want it to look good, you want easy administration and you can stand the awful burden of hundreds of useful modules and good-looking drop-in themes, then Xoops is the one.

Quite frankly, you can rock a site with three modules only: AMS(news), wf-sections and PopnupBlog.

Tried Mambo. The admin section. Gah. Scary.
