Anyone have any mothball free moth deterrents

Mothballs trigger my migraines, and we are constantly fighting moths in our closet.

2. I can speak for an anti moth blend

The anti moth blend is a mixture of pennyroyal, eucalyptus, and about a half a dozen other aromatic herbs. I think it smells pretty good, but the moths hate it. I had an infestation a few years ago and the bags of fleece that had sachets of this stuff (herb mixture stuffed into pillows made from scrap fabric) suffered no moth damage. A couple of sweaters I stored in a trunk with what I thought was adequate mothballs got chewed.

I've also tried bags of pet rodent litter, which consists of cedar shavings, but nothing has been quite as good as the herb blend. Plus, when I spin the yarn that's been protected by it, it smells really nice.

3. Those "space bags" might help, too

For clothes you're storing away for a season. Those are the plastic bags that you suck the air out of with a vacuum cleaner. I use them to help keep my fabric collection clean and to save the space. They work well and help give me lots more storage space. Available all over the net, Target and other department type stores. I got my first ones from QVC home shopping since the price n the special was good. Then I found them locally.
