Hi.
I'm one of those people who was a loner in school. I don't mind doing things alone...going to movies alone, stuff like that.

Terry

10. Those people are called "extroverts"...
and they are excruciating except in small doses.

Personally, I need about 2 or 3 hours alone for every hour spent socialising, just to decompress. And some extroverts I can't take being around for very long at all...they suck the life out of me. Whoever came up with the idea of the "emotional vampire" was, I'm sure, an introvert surrounded by extroverts.

2. Another loner here
I just think of myself as someone who needs a lot of "alone time." I got used to doing a lot alone (movies, museums) long ago because I hate waiting for someone else to be "in the mood." I think I get more out of things sometimes going alone.

5. I go to the movies alone all the time
hate having to coordinate, like just jumping up and seeing what I WANT WHEN I WANT

7. i know exactly what you mean. doing things alone allows me to
do very spontaneous things. i love to do unexpected things. it is a nice slice of freedom.

6. Terry!
:hi: How's it going? Haven't seen you in a while.

I like to go to the movies alone, and I like to eat out alone. I get stares sometimes, because people seem to think it's a cardinal sin or a crime or something, but I don't care. It's fun. I like my own company. :)

good for you jitterbug
I've always said, if you can't stand your own company why would other people want you around?
