2. Yep. The C*R*A*S*H damned-near caused bowels to move, but ...

... the damage as far, far less than it could have been. No windows broken, power lines untouched, air conditioning unit untouched, chimney intact, and apparently only very minor roof damage. The 'damage' of $825 to remove the debris and grind the stump is bad enough.

This really sucks. I see you live in Michigan -- somehow I always pictured you laying around on a beach somewhere, like those Corona commercials. :evilgrin:

Three trips to Tahiti and a couple to the Carribean are my mental cameras. The resolution is clear! I detest snow and cold weather with a passion.

Here's what happened to us almost two years ago, on 12/04/03. Not much fun, although we were incredibly lucky...if it had fallen another degree or so to the north, we would have been looking at rebuilding half the house.
