A Time to Rest
"I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the
landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter.
Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show."

- Andrew Wyeth

Wyeth, in my highly biased opinion, is one of the few artists that had a poetic vision. Something seriously lacking in this new IWorld.

Now this was very very cold and I'm pissed at myself for not 'seeing' this sooner. I would not have broken the virgin snow with my foot steps. Oh well.

1. Starkly desolate yet so alive with the
action going on both in the sky and then with the footsteps.
(Andrew Wyeth had this thing going on in bare fields with a model of his, Helga. I almost see her lying in the snow.)

5. Thank you everyone for your very kind words
I really appreciate it.

I was stuck in Donkey Gridlock for days, hence my delay in responding.

:D

I got some great Bulb exposures lit by moon light. Than my camera sputtered-coughed and died from the extreme cold. Still working on different ways to keep camera warm (or at least, semi-cold) I didn't have a film backup with me. :-(

Thanks again everyone
:hi:
