On a quest for hometown photos . . .
The Lawrence Memorial Chapel is truly an icon of my hometown.

The Chapel

Houdini Clock - well hey . . . who doesn't like good old Harry!

1. These are all beautiful...
But I like the bridge the best.

However, maybe the Chapel would be better for representing your hometown. Bridges can be seen everywhere, and even though this is a very cool picture, it seems less about the town than the Chapel.

Oh well........now I'm in knots! YOU choose, OK?

:P

:hi:

2. Thanks Peggy for your input, but
actually I have chosen already. Although clearly not a "contender" my photo "Cleo's" truly represents my hometown.

It's an iconic bar. Locals clearly know it, and anyone that has been to my hometown has been there.

It's famous!

3. I like the photo of the bridge the best as well - for the drama and the beauty
of the photograph. Though I like the others better to represent the theme. The spirit and essence of the town is a hard thing to capture and I think our task is to express it in a photo that could not be taken anywhere else. I vote for the first one, it's very dramatic and localized. I like the second, but I can't quite read Houdini, and I think it matters.
