The the colorful Bokeh appeals to me.

1. Really good shot for hand held
I have trouble getting that quality with a tripod.

3. I had to take several to make sure I got one

that was acceptable. It's still a bit soft, but sharpness and detail are secondary to this image. The bottom left is problematic, but I'm not sure many would even notice it. It might help move the eye around the flower.

I put my camera on the timer when I do tripod shots. The only movement will be from the shutter. I have read that when doing long exposures you should turn off image stabilization because it will continue attempting to compensate even in the absence of movement. That was from one source, so a grain of salt is advised.

I really like that old Yashinon 50mm that I used on this image. The focus ring is screwed up, but the optics are very nice.

2. This is truly special. I don't get that no matter how I hold the camera, or
what I set it on or attach it to.
The luminous light creates a catch in my heart. I have to steal it for my desk top for a while, hope you don't mind, since it replaces another one of yours...

4. Thanks.
It took a lot of images to get an image I liked. The lamp put off a warm yellow light that brought out the colors I wanted in the image. I was going to put a black card behind, but now I am glad I didn't. The Bokeh from the lens is real creamy, so potential distractions became supporting actors.

Yeah, use it as a background, I'd be honored.
