2. This is a great shot, but one awkward looking girl. Maybe it's just me and how
is strikes me.
Or maybe it is me remembering. I used to do 2 or 3 at a time, one around the neck, another couple around the waist, and I don't think my feet ever looked this funny.

Keep it up, trusty elf. Bring us the world!

4. He caught her mid dance move. The real action is the face

and how the hair frames her face.

The angles of the arms, neck, and legs mirror each other.

Teenager is a synonym for awkward.

7. I don't know.....
I find her pose has a certain elegance. It's true that she is wearing boots that are pretty clunky, and the position of her feet makes her look pigeon toed, but the geometry of the curves and angles of her body is appealing. :D

I agree with Alfredo that the way I happened to capture her face, with its sad expression, adds a lot to the shot.

I had to smile picturing you as a kid dancing away with two or three hula hoops. :-)

6. or, possibly for a ticket to the Comédie Française...
which is what that building is behind her.

...skinny arms indeed, and a melancholy face...

Thank you for your kind words, ElsewheresDaughter! :hi:
