First real outing with my new camera.

This one of the last images I took with my point and shoot. I left there and went straight to the store to buy the camera.

1. glad you are having fun with it
your skull photo would be good with western decor. Kind of hard to believe but people are really into these things. I would prefer elk antlers that are shed I think.

Love the salt and pepper thing, the soft reflection, the colors, the minimalism. You are getting the black and white thing in with the colors of the condiments, in that case.

Maybe you told us what your new camera is. Can you refresh my memory?

2. Congrats on your new camera!
I bought a camera about a year ago, and I'm still having run, still learning, still experimenting.

Your first outing images are fabulous and I too am drawn to the salt and pepper shakers. But I also like your b/w daisy (fourth photo) - the water droplets give it just that finishing touch.

6. I think we need a minimalist contest
And this is from someone who rarely does minimalism.

8. That would be fun to do. BTW, more images coming, including
my first portrait and I am pumped over how it handles skin tones.

7. Thanks. I feel that is the pick of the litter. It might work in b&w.
