I'm going to head out today and see what I can get. There isn't much in the way of fall colors around here, but hopefully I can find a decent patch of it somewhere.

I'd just like to re-shoot this with my new camera, on a tripod and from a slightly lower angle.

I may go back to that exact spot this weekend and see what I can accomplish :).

Well.... there goes my "Don't Leave the Trail #1" snap. :-( I love trail shots. Especially this time of year. The different levels of light (on a sunny day) I might still enter it... we could have dueling trails. :9

I have not posted Don't Leave the Trail #1. ConsAreLiars would be so proud of me. I actually planted by butt in the mud to take the snap. Anxious to see your re-shoot.

It has a very serene feel to it....the captured motion of the gull is very lovely....

It is hard to catch something like that.....and you have made it look easy!
