While some people ;) would like to see me locked up in a basement with candles and old books... I had to try to come up with one "fair" LANDSCAPE :P snap before I get pushed down the stairs into the dark abyss.

Ok, so it's not as good as (fill in anyone elses DU username here), it is what it is. Excuse me while I go look for some more candles. Oh.. and this is not a critique thread. If you don't like it... piss off!!

Are you putting your images on the smugmug site? and if you are, are you doing a bigger size? Photos lose so much just being on screen and then more when small. That would be a great big print.

ConsAreLiars had an excellent idea.... which I'm going to get around to starting and see if anyone else joins in. If not, then I'll trash it.

The idea? Put up hi-res photos that can be downloaded by DUers for free. I can understand why some may not want to do this... but I don't have a problem with it. It'd be a password protected gallery cause' the thought of repuke apes getting hi-res photographs for free... well... it sends a shiver down my spine.

Thanks for all the kind words, but truth be known, I wasn't at all happy with my original photo/post. Something CC said on another thread about "waiting for the light" got me looking at this differently...the way I should be looking at it.

Anyhooo.. I changed it. Now I'm happy. Now I can go back to the basement...

Been blind. Have had this stupid thought that if I can't snap everything "as is" and "in camera" ...... yea, same old story for me. But I've changed today. I'm a new man. O8)
