My Camera Toss Photos
Well, I became obesessed with camera toss. Always on the couch or with a million pillows and blankets on the ground, I spent one whole night trying different techniques. I was frustrated by house-sitting--I could have had many cool light props at home. But I made due with flashlights, candles, the tv, and an array of computer screen savers. This are the best shots.

Screensavers

TV

I call this one "Late Night with Fred Astaire"

TV, flashlight, candle, screensaver

This is my favorite. I got the effect by spinning the camera around my wrist by the camera strap. :)

3. are you taking these with a longer exposure or just
the regular setting on your camera?

I really like these...I might have to try these with our carved pumpkins and see if I can get some cool pictures....
Fill us in on settings and such...PLEASE

I'm not at all technical with the camera. I just put it on manual and send the numbers ever downward. I never have been able to explain aperture because it's fractions and I'm hopeless with them! And then they come up on my digital screen as a single set of quote marks, which makes me think inches! It's all very confusing for a me.

Anyway, here's the range of aperture readings I used as they appeared on my digital screen: 4 down to 15''. I got the best results in the 2 to 13" range. I hope you can make sense out of that, because I can't explain it any better. :(

I think using the jack-o-lanterns sounds really cool! I'd be very interested in seeing those shots!

4. Cool photos
I'm going to have to give that try. Maybe we can have a "photo toss" contest. And the winner gets a brand new camera to replace the one he/she broke during the contest.
