More flowers from the Sacred Isle (Not Dial Up Friendly)
Edited on Sun Nov-07-10 12:05 PM by maheanuu
For the past week or so, I have been quit busy with the "honey dews" or working on the broke thingeys on my VW Passat (1 of 3 in the Territory). So the sun finally came out intermittently for a couple of days and I broke out the Nikon and went on a hunt..

Here are the fruits of that Labor... I will try to tell you a little about them or as much as I know or can fathom...

The family has this thing about Bromeliads, and we have pretty much run the gamut on them or at least all that I have seen around here. At present they are starting to bloom some put out stalks and others just have a pincusion like center full of the buds...

4. That there's good hunting.
The colors look edible, especially in the final one. Beautiful work.
