1. Fun!
I especially like the first one and the last one although I'm not sure I would like to meet up with the last guy!

5. A malocchio specialist who can usually be found
in one of the local cappuccino places. My theory is he was miffed because his wife made him join the procession.

3. It's like being there. Excellent insights.
I like the last three especially, the last one looks to me did not like to catch you catching his portrait.

That happens.
I smile, and tell them I'll delete it, and I do.

7. He was 50 or 60 feet away
and I was in a gaggle of people taking photos as they passed by. But if looks could kill...:)

4. Oh what great photos.
And your K of C guy, (fourth picture)looks so solemn.

I didn't know that Churches had these types of parades anymore. Maybe just in the larger cities, because there's nothing like that around here.

Glad you had a chance to watch, observe, and take photos.

8. This is only the second year they've done this (I think).
St. Brigid's also does a Good Friday stations of the cross processional. The marching band has a whole songbook of miserable minor-key tunes. And when the bass drum starts up, our dogs set to howling. The thing gets a little smaller each year as the 'hood gets a little less Italian and the older congregants shuffle off this mortal coil. Or maybe more and more people are more and more fed up with being barked at...
