Just as I was opening this thread, my hubs was grinding some organic Sumatran beans and I am so in love with that aroma. And I don't even drink coffee. LOL

4. About 2 months ago

I discovered roasting my own in a hot air popcorn popper... and I will never drink anything else. I roast them dark until they pop from the oils being released (this batch is Ugandan). Grind fine and WOW! ...and the best ice coffee ever with what's left later in the day, some organic half and half and I use xylitol to sweeten...

5. One of the producers

in our coop gets fair trade organic coffee beans from around the world and roasts them, then vacuum packs them. My husband drinks lots of coffee and does the same as you do with any that's left after morning. I can drink it a little in the winter and it really is a superb coffee. I just can't drink it as strong as he likes it so I cut it with a little whipping cream and a wee bit of sugar. Or I make a mocha.
