1. Though you don't post all that often
the time has arrived, I think, that I would pick out your work and "eye" without knowing it's yours.
It's true for each of these.
In the second one, the capture of the soulful eyes directed away from you, who must be down and pretty close to take this photo, really makes it extra great.

2. Thank you Mira!
Actually, that's the beauty of a zoom lens -- I wasn't close enough so the dog never knew I was there. I've been addicted to long lenses since high school; I love the zoom lenses because I can compose in the camera but I often crop too tightly so that I either miss the opportunity (which is usually worth the risk) or if I enlarge the photo I lose some of it.

3. Working Do Not Pet.
That little critter looks like he could use a few pets. What an expression! It conveys more than any words possible could.

5. Thank you hippywife!
It's my passion. I don't pursue it professionally much because I like to keep the passion alive. I have friends who shoot weddings for a living and refer to Bridezilla and other horrors!

6. Well, yeah!
I would never shoot weddings if I were as talented as you. You do take magazine quality photos of those horse shows, though. I bet you could sell them in a snap if you wanted to.

But I do understand the desire to keep the passion alive.

8. I don't doubt it one little bit.
I take it you weren't Bridezilla, either. ;)

9. Thanks Juneboarder!
Yeah, that was the wedding where I was glad I brought a step ladder so I could fit that large Italian family in the frame!!!
