1. "I'm a Fine Art photographer"
Edited on Sat Nov-28-09 04:55 PM by regnaD kciN
If someone can help me understand the difference between a “Fine Art” photographer and a portrait, wedding, landscape, photojournalist, sports or wildlife photographer, I might rescind this item, but the whole term strikes me as a bit pretentious.

I used to use this in my promotional material to mean "I sell framed and mounted prints, instead of just licensing my images for stock." I've tended to use it less since realizing that, for many, it means "I take black-and-white 'artistic' images of female nudes." Not that I have any objection to that, but I don't have any such photos in my portfolio!

;-)

3. I get that 'what are you shooting at?' from HullBoss sometimes.
He doesn't really see what I'm seeing until the picture is up on the computer. :)
