In Memory of my brother Freimut -
His name means Freespirit and the photo was taken by my Dad, an amateur photographer with a large darkroom and whose Leica was always nearby.
This is me, holding him.

Three years ago today he died unexpectedly, but he was sick and it was merciful.
I miss him, I loved him so.

I was actually going to post a b/w of me and my sister taken for that same little paper my Dad published as a Methodist Minister.
And was going to put it under WJMS's post where he praises black and white.
Then I ran across this one and thought I'd post it in memory of Freimut.

4. Thank you my friends. Life goes on as it should. It is
calming to your spirit to live it so you can look back and know you did your best as you knew how to do it.
Tell those around you that you love them, that's what matters.
