Please help me select an entry. I was going to go with the colour version of The Runner before I realized two things: 1. The fall photo I posted the other day would work with the Eurythmics song; 2. The Runner photo might work better in black and white. Now I can't quite decide (although I do have my leanings). I probably won't get another good shot before submissions so these meager offerings are all I have. (I will be posting a couple to the "won't use" thread, though.)

1. The first one

Just because it is so good. I don't think I know The Runner. I do love how there are real runners in that picture. I prefer the color version. Any of these would be a really good choice. I love "Here Comes the Rain Again." (song AND photo)

2. Runners

I actually made sure to get runners in the photo because I felt it made it a much more interesting shot (and coincidentally, more fitting to the lyrics). I must have looked a bit strange. I was standing on a park bench to get some additional height so the path in the background could be better seen. Then I would wait a while, looking up and down the path, bring the camera up to frame the shot, wait, wait, snap a few pics, then lower the camera and repeat. The shot definitely worked better with the runners moving in the opposite direction of the statue.

3. I voted for the water...

because it looks so perfect, so wet, so "it's raining NOW" - a memorable shot.
But I must say it was a difficult choice. The Runner is a fabulous choice as well, and I'm with the black and white version, because it all bus undoes the image disturbing red stuff in the background.

You are cooking on the front burner with both images, and I foresee high vote counts for either one.
