2. Thanks
It started raining while I was out shooting so I figured I would try to get a shot of the raindrops on the water. It worked out better than I thought it would.

3. You're still getting liquid snow down there, huh?
I love this shot.

7. Cold and wet season
Well, it's now officially the cold and wet season here. We actually don't get much snow at all in the metropolitan area. It's really only the nearby mountains and the interior and northern areas of the province that get the snow. We get maybe a few days with snow (doesn't usually last more than a day or two) in the city. It's just pretty much rain from here to late spring. Last year was a freakish year though. We got a couple weeks of snow (not continuous but it didn't melt between snowfalls). I hope this year is more typical.

4. I like that so much. It is present, happening, the drops are falling now.
I really like that a whole lot. I have things like this in my files, but not with a feel this "immediate".

8. Thanks
I think I got lucky to capture a few drops in the split second after impact where the "rebound" drop (I'm not sure what else to call it) is floating above the expanding ripple.

9. I think it does
I hadn't thought about it that way but I think I understand what you're saying. I just hope it's melodic rather than out of tune. :P

6. It reminds me of a quilt. It's so textural. :^) Don't envy you standing out there to get that shot.

10. On again, off again
It wasn't too bad... but only because it didn't last too long. Now, though, it's more properly the rainy season so we're going to have a lot more rain and I'll fortunately or not have many more chances to get shots of rain...
