1. If it were
my diptych, I would not divide the picture plane exactly in half. maybe make it less symetrical like 2/3 - 1/3 but not even that exactly.

I like the contrast in the images and the mystery the piece evokes. works well in black and white.

2. I like your shots

What I see as a little bit of an issue is that the light coming in the window opposes the shadows, personally I would take the window shot and flip it, so the suns coming in on the right side, then move that image to the right side and move all the rest of it to the left.

3. The light on the door is from
that window.

It is kind of a 180 thing.

I guess it is not that obvious. I am trying a re-work... or possibly a re-shoot, as tomorrow will have the same light

Thanks

4. I don't know what a diptych is, but I understand triptych.
It works for me in my limited understanding of that you lined up and stitched 3 photos together, and I like it and I like it in b/w.
All I wish, as I look at it, is more height.

The height I miss is on the bottom, I think seeing the full lock-plate and more of the bottom windows of light on the right (with the potential diagonal coming down) would give some needed information.
Hope that makes sense.
