Anybody have a 6 megapixel point and shoot
sitting around gathering dust that you would be willing to sell me for pennies?

My D100 is still a bit heavy for my gimpy (but improving) hands. My point and shoot "car camera" is only 3 megapixels, and I'm going crazy not being able to shoot.

1. Darn it, I just gave a spare one to my nephew, and he would never give it back.
His Dad tells me he is off and shooting every day. He is 9 - just like the kid who entered our contest.
If I were you with limited funds I would get it on ebay. One of those is my Sony alpha 100.
I have not gone wrong with ebay yet, after about 130 or so purchases.
Just ask good questions.

If I had one I would give it to you.

5. Thanks
I will check e-Bay. Might find a bargain for 6 mgp. Everybody's up to 10 and 12 these days.

6. There must be something about being 9 and discovering a love for shooting pictures. :^)

his messed up A80.

3. I have a Sony DSC H2 that needs some work.
It's light, has the capacity for other lenses, takes good pictures. May not be quite as small as you are looking for.

8. Not sure yet; it's in the shop as we speak...
It got flooded; the electronics may very well be fried, although I was able to recover photos from its onboard memory after it dried.

It may very well not be worth fixing; I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
