2. I don't know how you got every moving element positioned so well.
Great balance without symmetry. If you straighten the horizon it would be even better.

5. Actually I did play around with the horizon but........
I wasn't happy with the image. Something about it bothered me so I left it alone.

3. I wanted to have only sailboats in the shot,, sort of a 1800's meets...
the 21st century, so I did a small crop. Below is the original shot. Funny enough, I left my D-300 home and took this shot with a Cannon A530.

6. I was tempted to comment in my first post...
that if the bridge were not in the photo, those sailboats (especially that large one on the left) would give an excellent feel for the bay during the Gold Rush Era!

Hey, nothing wrong with the A530's work, considering its natural limitations; I have had some very nice results with our A520.
