Winter fast approaches
We took a little road trip down to Girdwood and Portage today ... no snow in Anchorage yet, so if winter won't come to us, we'll go to winter. :)

5. Beautiful. You captured
it with your usual magical touch.

Your daughter seems to of taken your snow to CO with her. Went to see Halloween costumes and both boys were so cute. Hot tubbing in the snow is beyond my thing blood though.

6. WOW - Favorites: 1- 5 - 6 - 7 the stark ones.
I very much stay astounded that you can tolerate living in this kind of cold.
Yet I can envision to bundle up for a short while to see it for myself.

Do you have a guest room?

These are breath arresting, and so beautiful.

8. That was my favorite, too.
The light back in the valley, on the edge of the clouds, was just great.

9. Jeekers, Blue!
I could have sworn I'd already commented on these, but when I stopped in for a second look, I realized I hadn't.

They're just masterful. The first and fifth make Alaska seem dreamlike...

Dang!!!!

12. The beauty
from rugged, stark to sublime lines (especially in the first one) are just great. The last one just made me feel a a little anxious for the inevitable Winter freeze on it's way here. We are having an exceptional warm spell right now, and this is a reminder that it simply cannot and won't last. I'll be outside today enjoying what little warmth the sun is throwing in our direction.
