4. light and seasons!

Always gets me, especially as summer fades and fall begins. I'm no spring chicken, and I still associate it with "back to school". I remember noticing the way the shadows on the wall in my room changed, as the sunlight went through the venetian blinds. But also the quality of the light shifted as well.

You know what? You totally captured the feeling in this picture, sans venetian blind shadows. Remarkable. Not that I love the "back to school" feeling, even now.
