That's what I was going to say about the first one! I just love that feel to it! I got that little zing that you get when something really appeals to you right off the bat. I'd definitely hang a print of that in my house!

6. The pilots were amazing
The annual show is at the big airport across the river next weekend. Some pilots usually show up early to practice at our local airport, so they held an open house. Here's another perspective showing how good they were:

That first one, I also say looks like a painterly thing instead of a photograph. Beautifully done.
The second makes my blood pressure go up, WOW for catching that!
And the flower is gorgeous, it will decimate that spider.

The "painting effect" is more by luck than judgement. It's happened in other pictures too. Now if I could just figure out how to do it consistently. :shrug:
