Stragglers to the contest - Varied Strangers I ran across in Pisgah Forest NC

I hung out with the family this weekend riding bikes and enjoying the summer in the forest. Except for the girl at the falls I had to ask permission to take the shots.
I was using a new Fujifilm Point and Shoot, it has a nice digital zoom and 10 megapixels. I was clueless how to operate it. But I am permanently tired of hitting my forehead with a camera that has no viewfinder, so I gave my canon equivalent with NO viewfinder to my grandson. And my good camera had no
place in the basket of my bike on strenuous mountain trails.

I had fun.
This gentleman threw away what looked like a joint leftover so I could take his picture.
His eyes seem to corroborate the tale.




These ladies were "tickled pink and just proud" to have me take their picture at a famous ice cream place at the entrance to Pisgah Forest.

2. Thank you Tekisui. You'll probably run across the man - you would not be able

to miss him in the streets. This was a Hooker Falls, Brevard, and he proceeded to jump down the falls numerous times against the posted rules not to do that.

Too bad you couldn't enter the contest! On a plus note, I am not sure how you could have decided among these. I love all of them.
