Mar 2009 - Annual migration of the Cedar Waxwings:

Apr 2009 - Bush (?) I have never seen bloom, as I am usually in North Carolina this time of year (I did not know it even bloomed):

Edited for spelling.

1. Do the cedar waxwings get drunk on the berries?
Beautiful bush. Maybe you should stay home in spring. ;)

2. It's a good thing I got the picture of the bush yesterday.
We had drenching rain all night so many of the blooms were knocked off.

The Waxwings do love the berries. My husband keeps threatening to chop down the trees, as they make such a mess when they fall to the ground. He can't understand why they don't pick the berries from the ground, versus plucking them off the tree.

3. Right
Ask your husband if he would prefer fruit off the supermarket floor or from the bins. Those birds are no fools.
