Does anybody subscribe to "Popular Photography"?
I got an offer for a year's subsciption for $7 -- I guess I can't lose at that price. Do you all have any opinions on the magazine?

1. Don't subscribe, but I buy the occasional copy if they have something
I'm especially interested in reading. It's a good magazine. For that price, I'd get the subscription.

2. Before I gave up my sub several years ago
it was mostly ads and low-level filler. Product reviews-promos, commercial driven, and nothing like Outdoor Photographer. But it also had a fair number of regular features and columnists who made the rest of the crass commercialism tolerable and even, occasionally, useful. If I were you, I'd buy the sub, assuming there is no fine print in the sales contact - be careful - or pay $10 from a more trustworthy source just to check it out. Even the ads are sometimes useful.

4. I already subscribe to Outdoor Photographer
and really enjoy it because it focuses on my particular interest. I guess for 7 bucks I could try this out -- and I will read the fine print, as you suggest.

5. I have been a subscriber for a long time
so that I get really cheap renews. For $7 you should easily get your money's worth.
