3. Well I wouldn't go as far as call me a pro.
:) It was non-paying but nice exposure. I am excited and humbled.

2. I love the way the white head and the white in the "cloak" create the focal point.
This guy is wide awake, and so were you to get this shot !
Very pleased to get to partake in your triumph

4. What I like about the shot is that my son is the one
who pointed the kite out to me. We were headed to church one day in the spring. He was six at the time when a bird flew right past the truck low and fast. My son said, "Look daddy, a mississippi kite." So I guess he does listen to me at times. :)

6. Congratulations!
Love your photos, surprised more of them aren't published.

What time of day did you take this, to get the shadows on the branches to give them depth?

13. Great catch
I love kites. They are so illusive and full of personality.

15. Thank you
For whatever reason they reasonably approachable to an extent in my area. Since the area where they nest is a neighborhood, they may be more used to human presence.

16. Thanks vickiss
Things are relatively peaceful in my world especially if I get the chance to photograph birds or other wildlife and the immediate family is doing fine.
