Bridgits pics from Cambria yesterday made me go back finally do something about some pictures I took earlier this year.
Was travelling the LA-SF-Vegas triangle, and on our way from Death Valley to Las Vegas, we stopped to take some pictures of this:
And right behind us was this:
And turn around again for a sun that had gone a little further down:
Don't know what I did next - but I managed to more or less destroy what I think would have been a fantastic picture. Somehow I managed between shots to throw 40 ounces of dirt on the lens - and I didn't notice:
There is more in the set. You can change the number in the picture address up to 38. (right click and pick Info or Show Image(or whatever its called in your browser) to get the address)I wont encumber peoples lines with more. :)
I like 21, 23, 31, 34(Shot into the car window) and 36.
I have just taken the RAWs and converted to jpgs and scaled them 25%. I would probably like to recrop some of them. And I could probably save a some of the "dirt-enhanced ones" - or crop the worst parts out. But time was not for that tonight - and I figured it could serve as a reminder to regularly check the lens front. :)
