You're lucky to have been there on a sunny day. The last time we drove the coast it was foggy all the way from just north of LA to San Francisco.

I took that route in Sept. And must have driven right past there. It was foggy all the way up as well.

EDIT: Actually, I just looked through my pictures. And I might have taken some pictures not much down the road.... And its pretty sunny. :) But I can see the coulds coming in on them - and its certainly foggy and cloudy on the ones taken further up.

EDITEDIT: Found the spot on Google maps. And it was 3 miles or so north of Cambria. :) And the sun was definately shining.
