Sifting through last year's December photos - trying to find something to enter in the contest and it just ain't happening, evidently - I ran across this picture of the Big Guy I had forgotten about. At fourteen, he's feeling his age a little. I understand perfectly how he feels.

4. He almost never ventures into this spot
it being reserved for cats and the odd visit from a pushy beagle. It was nice to catch him there for once.

5. That photo tells a truth about dogs and their people.
Some dogs (most?) will look people in the eye and (seem to try to telepathically, no matter how dense the humans might be) communicate (send or receive) directly. This is a good example of that happening.
