A request for photography of Ferns
I am Webmaster for The American Fern Society (http://amerfernsoc.org) and have just added a photo gallery. Photos are starting to trickle in. Photos must be at least 800 pickles in the longest side and not over 200 Kb. I will resize to suit. I will be happy to provide the URL to the photographer’s photo gallery for those who have one along with the photographer’s name. Fern genus, species and cultivar name must be known. Both wild and cultivated ferns are acceptable. If anyone is interested in contributing you can send photos to webmaster@amerfernsoc.org

2. At least a common name would be helpful
I need to be able to ID the species.

3. I wish I had known sooner...
There were a bunch of them up at the McKinley Princess, but I don't think I got any shots of them. I'll go back and look through, though, and see if I can pull one or two out.

7. Here's one I entered in the texture contest
I can't swear to it, but I think it's a common old Boston Fern. I believe it's one that I removed from the house and just dumped outside when it "died." And lo and behold it resurrected itself a couple of years ago.

8. One correction
That should read 800 pixels not 800 pickles. That's what I get for posting at 2:00 AM.
