It's 9:02 p.m., we just got back from our train ride. I guess I'll be working tonight to find a tree entry.

1. Welcome home.

Did it stop raining for you? And yes get to work on those pictures.

2. It didn't rain much,

but it was gray for the two days, and we couldn't see "the" mountain, just the ones at its base -- not too shabby on their own, but they pale in comparison to the Great One. Right now, the prediction is that Monday and Tuesday will be partly cloudy in the park, so we could get lucky. Weather is variable this time of year, a little bit of everything. We'll take what we get.

Even in the subdued light, the colors were beautiful, and the mini vacation very relaxing. The dome car on the train was great, and we shared a table with the same couple we were with last year on the glacier cruise, so it was like seeing old friends. Good food, nice room, a hot tub -- so I can't complain. :) Especially since everything but the food was free. Can't beat it.

I'll post a few pictures later. I'm trying to pick out a tree, but there's such a mass of them, it's hard to separate them out. I guess I'll be doing some serious cropping.

3. Sounds like a great weekend to

me, and then you get another one with your drive through Denali. I am almost jealous except I was freezing here last week. Hoping for good weather for the next trip. Get your tree in soon. lol Did you read the last line of the submission thread? I'm off to bed, long day of kitchen stuff here.

5. Dang that filled up FAST!

I thought I had some more fall pix, but I guess I deleted them, had to go with what was on the hard drive.

Guess everybody liked the 'TREE' choice. ;)
