Poll question: The LAST last poll!!!!
Have been in the last throes of the insurgency (actually, have just moved, andfinding my life and putting it into some sort of order is a HUGH!!!1! task.)

So, here are three photos from my archives am considering entering.

Please note that the "Tree Captured" is as large as I can make it without losing focus. If someone with magic editing powers can help me out here in enlarging it to maintian sharpness, would sure appreciate it :hi:

1. Sunset Cypress
I think this one would really stand out in a thread. Like the second one too, but it doesn't "read" quite so easily. The third is a cool shot; you could try upsampling to 300 ppi or so, then enlarging the dimensions, sharpening and downsampling back to 72, but you'll still probably end up with an unacceptably degraded image.

2. Thanks, JeffR!
I went ahead and entered Sunset Cypress. It was my first choice, and going with the gut feeling usually ends up being right :)

I did try what you suggessted, and then had to back it down becasue it just loses too much. Somewhere I have the original on disk, but only have a copy of the one I posted at an online site. It's one that I entered a few years ago at www.picture.com...and I learned that those people are just a picture mill that want your money to buy their books and go to Las Vegas to their "conventions"....what a joke.
