What the **** are they?????
Well, obviously I know how these abstract images were made. Can you guess, too?

Clues may be provided if no one comes up with the answer soon. And, obviously, no camera information is being given, since that might be a dead giveaway. ;-)

1. First image is of alien space ship that has come to take Cheney
(hoping!) LOL.

Are they fireworks photos taken with a disposable camera?

5. Cool! Snakes on a plane?
I'm lost. It can't be a roller coaster. That one bend is a back breaker.

7. Okay, you had a tripod and an incredibly low shutter speed.
You took pictures of an acrobatic plan doing loops and such then you some how added magic fairy dust. ;) Did you add the fireworks post production? Was the plane letting out colored smoke and fireworks?

8. You got it!
Was the plane letting out colored smoke and fireworks?

The Seafair fireworks show began with an aerial performance by a pilot named Bill Neff, as seen in this link. Neff was piloting an aerobatic trainer that shot off fireworks as it went through its stunts. Since there was no way I was going to be able to get in-action shots of a nighttime air show, I simply "led" the plane, locked down my tripod, then used a cable release to open the shutter as soon as it flew into frame, and close it once it exited. Most of the attempted shots were terrible (he had a way of darting off in another direction the moment I fixed the camera where I thought he would go), but a few came out nicely, in an abstract, minimalist kind of way.

Good guess! :applause:

10. No big surprise...
I mean, it was like the comment one old-time Hollywood mogul made about the big turnout for a fellow mogul's funeral: "Give the people what they want, and they'll show up every time!" ;-)

I actually felt smart photography wise for a fleeting moment. :) Cool shots.
