Contest deadlines.

I originally had said I was going to start taking submissions around the 15th, but then I got a PM from InTheFlow asking if I could wait until she gets back to Denver around the 19th. Then I heard from NVWhino that she's going to be leaving for Denver on the 19th. So here's my plan. How about if I open for submissions on the 17th so NV has a chance to enter, but if I get 29 entries before ITF gets back, I won't take any more until she has a chance to submit hers. Would that work for everybody?

I've done that before, and it works fine. I'll keep a list right here by my computer. If anybody else wants to do that, let me know.

Summer just seems a bit difficult for getting everybody together at the same place at the same time, so I'm willing to make whatever accommodations I can for people. I want to see everybody's great entries. And may I say again, I am SO glad I don't have to enter this one. :evilgrin:

We declare the contest over and I can go back to shooting inanimate objects, with an occasional dog pic if one of ours is doing something snapworthy.

I'm trying to think outside the box; while there's no doubt I am no longer within the box, I seem not to be able to think at all anymore.

7. Radiator holding and God willing,

I'l be back in Denver on the 17th. May take a day to recoup before I tear my photo collection (in no real order) apart to search for the shot I want. Still should be back in plenty of time to get in before you reach 30 entries. If I can't find it by the 18th, I'll probably submit something else if it looks like it's getting close to filling up.

But if I blow it and don't get in before you have 30 entires (including one of mine), please don't hold up the contest on my account. Makes me feel like a prima donna, and I hate prima donnas! :hi:

9. Hope I can get mine submitted in time....

Will be home on Sunday, the 18th, to be able use my computer that has the editing program I need. I have a couple of pics I want to edit from t his trip, but am on the road until then.


However, should the entry time close, so be it :-) I enjoy all the photos np matter what...and there will be another monthly fun contest :hi:
