4. Yes, but...
...the coyote isn't running off a cliff!

;-)

7. He appears to be looking for the nearest cliff, however
Which means it's probably not Wiley. He never looked before he leapt.

5. Kewl
A lone Coyote? Where is the rest of the "gang"? Don't think I've ever seen a real Roadrunner. I don't get out much.:-(

Nice shots.

6. Nice pictures. Wildlife is a real challenge.
My only encounter (sans camera) with a coyote was when I had stopped by the side of a road in Oregon and walked down toward the river to deal with a certain pressing problem, and while relieving myself the coyote walked up the bank a few feet away and gave me a look that said, perhaps, "Pissing into my drinking water? What kind of animal are you?"

But no pix. Another memorable "no pix" moment was in Sri Lanka when some kind of giant (75-100 pounds, I didn't try to lift it) lizard walked past me on the beach, again with a look of disinterest, like I was a minor annoyance. They both helped to teach me my place, and I thank them.

8. The earthquake pills are taking effect.
Look at him. He's about to shake. I wish you caught him with his rocket pack and roller skates. ;)

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote. Genius. I've come to eat you for supper tonight. Now, there's no sense in attempting to escape as I am far superior in intellect to you, and will catch you anyway...."

9. I like both shots,
I bet you could count the feathers on the roadrunner in the original size photo. The coyote looks like he is waiting for the rest.
