One I'm thinking of entering as a newbie.
Though I still have to go through some others.

1. Nice pic!
I played with it a little... let me know what you think.

I darkened and sharpened it, and gave it a more 'sepia' tone.

3. I hate to say it, but I like the edit better...
With your version the crispness of the clouds and water really take on a beauty of their own... not as noticeable in the original.

The other thing I like better is that the border doesn't fade to a square frame but rather to nothing... almost like burned edges.

It shows off how nice the original photo was, even though I like this one better :-)

Good work to both of you!

5. I'm torn.
I like the edit of the pic but I also like the softness of the original.
Think I'll play with it again and see If I can have both.

6. I like the original...
It reminds me of an old newspaper print. It has an aged feel that I like.

8. Ditto
However, voters in the Lounge may not appreciate the muted authenticity as much as we do.

7. The edit blew out the sky
I'd go with the original, authenticity is good.

9. You obviously liked the original.... as did I
I start playing with a number of edits on a snapapooni and I'll lose interest in it. But, that's just me. Try a few. Be happy. Have fun. Just enter sumtin' in the contest. Newbies have been kickin' ass on the 'regulars'.

11. Sooo... enter it
I like that the "subject" is very unique. That, and being a great photograh. Mixes up the entries.
