My favorite shot (so far) from New Year's Eve in Town Square
I love this toddler examining the backlit ice sculpture.

2. I had some issues with movement...
...but as long as the subject was inanimate or standing still, it wasn't too bad. :)

3. How was the Crap and Shrimp?
Love the blue :P in that shot.

Felt bad about my Dick Clark comment. Didn't realize that he suffered a stroke or sumtin'. Was nice to see him on the tele but a little depressing to listen to him.... he being a New Years legend and all.

4. The CRAB (crap, FG??) was wonderful....
We ate and ate until we couldn't eat any more, and we still have probably six or eight legs left, so we'll be enjoying them later with our black-eyed peas. And we missed Dick Clark - got too caught up watching the Masters of Horror marathon.

5. That is TOTALLY cool! It's one I'd be happy to display on the wall,
in a great big 6' print.

Nicely done! Beautiful color capture, wonderful composition with the vertical bands separating the colors and the child off to the left... gorgeous! And the subject, though I know you had no control over it, you found an excellent position from which to shoot and catch all those beautiful curves in the ice.

Bravo!!
