Opposing Bush: A Form of Mental Illness?

Opposing Bush: A Form of Mental Illness?

It’s not the stolen election or the war crimes committed in my name. It’s not the fact Bush is a liar and a criminal. It’s not the Strausscons in the White House and the Pentagon, plotting multiple wars in the Middle East and elsewhere. It’s not Congress, sold out to neolibs, multinational corporations, and Wall Street loan sharks.

It’s me.

I’m suffering from “political paranoia” and need Paxil, a prescription drug for the treatment of anxiety and depression. It’s not the 100,000 dead killed by my government in Iraq. It’s not torture or loose talk of nuking enemies. It is a serotonin imbalance in my brain. I suffer from any number of possible maladies—depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (thus writing this blog every day), and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I suffer from mental illness and need help.

Congress may come to the rescue—and soon.

1. Have you got any confirmation of that?
The guy says in his blog that the story was found on only one web site and could not be found elsewhere on the web.

People have probably been paranoid about government since government was created. And with good reason. The sorry bastards that are supposed to be representing us lie and cheat all the time. There are plenty of accounts of that in history. How can anyone deny the fact that we were fed a bullshit line about Iraq and WMDs? The stupid freepers will tell you that they found WMDs in Iraq and the main stream press is just suppressing the information. Hows that for political paranoia? Remember how bad the press was wanting to say that the troops had indeed found WMDs? Every truck trailer, land fill and warehouse was reported to maybe be a site where WMDs were at. If they had found those weapons it would have been all over the news for days. Weeks.

I agree with the blogger that if this story is true it could open the door for some serious oppression. At the very least it could be a ruse to help line the pockets of pharmaceutical companies. I wonder how much they have donated to Frist? Psychiatric drugs don't affect the intellect so much any more. I take three different drugs and I'm as smart and wise as I ever was. Perhaps even more so. I don't think that putting people on meds for "political paranoia" is going to change the way they feel about the government. But that may just be the first step.

5.  Now be a German and fall in step
Seems to me that the wealth of the drug companys came about during Ronnie's 8 years of putting earth into the toilet of fuedalism again. Along came the seminars about prosperity, the greed, the so called regan Democrats, the corporate raiders ,the cocaine etc......25 years later millions of people take pills to deal with the turmoil of injustice, what is a realist ? a person who says times are bad and screws people to make it easier for themselves ? We have no heros ,only celebrity hedonists and politicians so removed from the people that the homeless and hungry are'nt seen thru the tinted windows of bullit proof Hummers. A society of anti cultural entertained biggots grubbing for oil when the writing was on the wall about petro fuel by 1914.A world full of death and torture balanced by royalty and greed. This isn't life anymore and death is no better........
sorry thats what happens when the doc dosen't call in the script. see we ( US) know the answers and it seems to be working against us.
