Catholics and Anyone Else Looking for News of the Pope, Check EWTN

online

http://www.ewtn.com/JohnPaul2/condition/index.asp

This page with a current brief summary of his condition, links to prayers, Q and A on the Pope's illness, etc. and to updates on his condition. It's all you need, IMHO, to stay informed, and there's NO speculation on his condition.

If EWTN is available to you by cable or satellite (it's channel 422 on Direct TV),
check it out, too.

b]EWTN has had updates -- breaking into the nonliturgical programs -- AND run a crawler during nonliturgical and paraliturgical programming.

They have cancelled the usual Saturday morning religious programs for children to show a special program, "John Paul II, Making History" that some of you might be interested in taping or TiVo-ing -- Lots of great footage of Il Papa in Roma and on his travels around the world.

This is the third showing so far that's on now; I just have it on in the background in case they run an update. OK, it ended and they did a short message on the mysteries of the Rosary, and now they're re-showing a congregation praying the Rosary in a chapel, which today is being said for the Holy Father. I said it with them earlier this morning, which works out well since I've now checked my e-mail, written this post, and I'm ready to do some things offline.

Peace be with you all today and with John Paul II as "the most-traveled pope in history" appears to be on the beginning of his last of many, many journeys away from the Vatican.
