Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2006 -- Presidential candidate Senator John Kerry presented Sheeraz Hasan with the Dr. Zakir Hussain Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts during the Centenary of Satyagraha and the 59th Anniversary of India's Independence and Awards Night held on August 19th at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The award was named after Dr. Zakir Hussain who was the former president of India.

The tie in that picture is not new at all. It'a his Vineyard Vines Nantucket Isle and Whale tie, which we blogged about here:

It was making frequent tv appearances for a while, but it was tough to identify the small print. This is a great pic, though - you can see all the little whales and all the little Natuckets!
