1. He's worse then that
he is an outright bigot. It got played pretty good down here. But how many more bigots live here, thats the question, and I don't like what I think the answer would be.

Our job now is to crush the bullies and the bigots, they have been running this country for the last 6 years, and if we don't I hate to see the future of this country.

2. I saw the video on youtube when I got up this morning
Having been away from a computer the past week and not only did he call that dude what he called him once, he called him it twice and what was really weird and hypocritical of how he started out saying, "We're going to run a positive campaign." I hope he stinks like a stone in this.

4. Wow
I knew the guy was a racist and imbecile but that's just psychotic. Have to say I think if president he'd be worse than Bush.

5. he seems similar to Bush in some ways
these things came out about Bush early on also but the media never really gave it attention the way they did with Kerry's past and every little thing Gore said.

i just hope he loses the Senate race and we don't have to hear from him again.

6. Hopefully these comments will be the end of him
but it's always hard to beat an incumbent especially one that was governor too. Looks like Casey is going to get the upper hand on Santorum up in Pa too.

7. do you know if/when debates will be ?
with Allen's current problems. i think if Webb can prove himself in the debates he might have a chance at pulling it off. but you are right, it will be difficult.

can't wait for Santorum to go away. i bet he gets a job on Fox News afterwards as most republican losers do.

11. Notta and Casey has an easier road than Webb
because Casey is both a familiar face and name to the Pa voters, Pa is more Dem than Virginia is, and his relative social conservatism will help. Webb's running against a man who regrettably was a popular governor and isn't well known to Va voters but still if Webb wins, I'll be happy. Allen's the biggest embarassment to Virginia since North ran.

9. Maybe even the bigots won't want him.
I mean, everybody knows it's not politically correct to be a racist--even the ones who are. They'd prefer a closet racist, I'm guessing. If he's said and done stuff that everyone can point to--they by getting behind the guy, you are admitting that you are, too. And that can't be cool in most situations. Of course there are some groups who don't care, I'm sure.

8. On the bright side,
he's also suffering for it.

* Following the now-infamous "macaca" incident, Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) has taken a bit of a hit in the polls. A new Rasmussen poll shows Allen now leads challenger James Webb (D), 47% to 42%. Last month, Allen was above the 50% threshold and enjoyed an 11-point lead.

GO, Webb!!!

10. You got that right, Kleebster
That Oliver North run some years back was an embarassment for Virginia, now Allen is topping that. I really hope Mark Warner will work hard to get Webb elected. He is highly respected by so many people in Virginia, including Republicans, I think he could really help out. And, of course, I hope Kerry does more fundraising for Webb, since he needs the money very badly.
