1. Tell steam that Kerry and every other Dem nominee would NEVER say pull out

of Iraq in 2004 BEFORE IRAQ HAD ITS FIRST ELECTION.

Not even Kucinich - who was basically on the same page with Kerry when he said bring in UN and NATO as peacekeepers as soon as possible, which meant at the first sign of stabilization.

What Democrat would run in 2004, expecting to take office in Jan 2005, by ASSUMING the Iraqi people would not form a government or implying they were incapable of it.

This is 2006 with THREE elections under Iraq's belt and a civil war in the mix.

Big difference whether steam is able to comprehend that fact or not.

2. He is a troll

and not worth the time of day, and all the other trollites come and join in. As you can see from the spawning. Now Zenkeeper is a good soul but he goes about his confronting these 2 in the wrong way.

A troll is someone who comes into a thread, or diary to deliberately disrupt the conversation, they are not their accidentally but for purposes of their own, they feed off one another.

The Kevin Schmidt guy is known for his trolling back during the campaign, when I saw his name a bell went off and he is still hung up on '04, and he cannot get over it, this is the case of most trolls on any site when Kerry is mentioned in a positive way. The RW trolls are much more obvious for it is hard for them to hold back their vitriolic remarks.

In the end the positive outweighs the negative in that diary by a large %, and the truth backed up by facts wins in the end.

6. Someone was kind enough to point out dKos rules

And made the case that LibertySquirrel should be troll rated for the S & B conspiracy rant. So I did troll rate their comment.

The rule is: no conspiracy theories. You MUST provide evidence for it. So anytime someone says Kerry threw the election for S & B, that is a troll rate offense.

10. No, I heard Chris Bowers complain about that, too, at the YearlyKos

convention. It's a computer glitch. I couldn't for a while, but now I've got it back. It's a program -- nobody sits there and babysits. This is why I think DailyKos is SOOO much better than DU, because it is community regulated instead of some arbitrary moderator coming in randomly deleting posts. In spite of Markos being, well, Markos, I always enjoy debating on DailyKos much more than DU. There are also more moderates on DU, which I fit in with better. And, I really like that conspiracy theories are frowned upon there. Like Bush was behind 9/11 crap, totally annoying.
