BTW, Listening to Lawrence O'Donnell on Franken

I love him. He just asked why the new stupid on Franken's show is a guy with a Boston Accent. O'Donnell just mentioned that he is originally from Dorchester and that he is currently speaking 'American' on the Franken show, but that Bostonian is his native tongue.

I (usually) LOVE O'Donnell - but he really pissed me off a few weeks ago when he was on the McLaughlin Group - can't remember what they were talking about, though.

2. He did claim that Sen. Kerry ran away from his comments

on terrorism best being dealt with as a law-enforcement issue, which I disagree on, but still, he did go on to talk about the George Will column. (And it was funny. O'Donnell asked FRankedn, what is Bostonian the new stupid? Why do I have to follow this skit with the dumb Revee-yah guy. You know, Bostonese is my first language, this one I use on the radio is an affectation.) Gee Whome, is my accent the new dumb? I feel picked on now.

We have really smart people with great ideas. (That was difficult. Not a 'wicked' or a 'idear' or a 'friggin' reference in the whole sentence. Maybe I should do more of that. I will, herewith, retreat to my prior status as a Duchess and foreswear vulgar references to people with mental deficiencies or insufficient reasoning processes. They are, ahm, a bit difficult to take and tend to make me a triffle upset. They are poohpoohheads.)
