Tassy Plummer and Setti Warren
Elizabeth Tasker Plummer, a daughter of Janet M. Plummer of Andover, N.H., and C. Randall Plummer of Washington, was married yesterday to Setti David Warren, the son of Elpedia Lopez and Joseph D. Warren, both of Falmouth, Mass. The Rev. Nancy S. Donnelly, a Presbyterian minister, officiated at Saltwater Farm in Tenants Harbor, Me.
Mrs. Warren, 26, is known as Tassy. She is a program coordinator at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, where she is to begin studying for a master’s degree in educational policy and management in September. She graduated from the University of Virginia.
Her father is the head of the Sheridan School in Washington. Her mother is a librarian at the Hopkinton Middle and High School in Hopkinton, N.H.
Mr. Warren, 35, is the deputy state director, in Boston, for Senator John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts. In 2000 and 2001, the bridegroom was the regional director in New England for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He graduated from Boston College and is to begin his final semester of law school at Suffolk University in Boston in September. His previous marriage ended in divorce.
His mother is a social worker at Cape Cod Child Development, an organization in Hyannis, Mass., that operates the Head Start programs, child care and other family support services. His father is the special assistant to the vice president for public affairs at Northeastern University in Boston; he is also an adjunct research scholar for African-American studies there. The bridegroom is also the stepson of Martha L. Warren.
The couple met during Mr. Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, when she was working on the senator’s advance team and Mr. Warren was his trip director. Mr. Kerry was a groomsman at the wedding.
